. People support started only after kcr fast as it looked as delhi has made up its mind to give. Actually TG demand as it is is put (complete hyd to tg and nothing to andhra) is materially hugely benefecial to TG. And despite that even in 2009 TG went with YSR who is known to oppose it.

Agitation was a wave which would have died down quickly. But the movement was financed and kept running by TG reddies/ RS reddies (intially until YSR won)/TG velams  etc. Ofcourse on top of it delhi enjoyed. They always wanted hyd run by a weaker local govt so it makes it easy to settle hindi populations and businessmen there.

Amaravathi people voted for jagan. Even in krishna guntur ysrcp won majority seats. As i said before you nevber think of people - "meekendhuku rajakeeyam". Then Why wont you part with india - i dont understand. India takes far more tax money of tg/rs or whatever and gives very little. You can get UN membership if you do that and even direct connection to usa. Is it because you think it is too hard ? you always make arguements of convenience and never arguements of right or wrong. this is really over clever behaviour without a sense of right and wrong. Ultimately if you play games like this you will role in the game will be one of a joker.

Yedho mabhaya pedithe chesaaruba - but it does not change the fact it is driven by caste panchayati of TG agravarnams (reddies) against kostha agravarnams. There is no TG people hatred of andhra nor a real desire of seperation. There is no reason assal antha kanna meaningless movement inkoti ledhu.

Central govt was always there. KCR started this in 1998-99 with full knowledge of YSR and Sonia. Central govt yemi digi rale - urukkuntu vachindhi to exploit the situation. Both congress, BJP happily joined together who otherwise pretend to fight on everything.

Telangana movement reddies chesara ? No , Infact most of the Telangana congress reddy leaders were called Telangana drohulu by their own party members .

Initialy RS reddies started it to defeat TDP. once TDP defeated they wanted to kill TG movement but it was exploited by velama doras . Lets not forget TG reddies especially NRI's full supported the TG movement and funded it. They did for not so much as direct political benefit but kulala panchayati which was trasnformed in to anti-andhra feeling itself among them. Yes - eventually reddies esp RS reddies lost the maximum. Jagan win is nothing for them as there is no hyd nothing. They no longer have a chance to rule the whole state like they used to before. As i said before ultimately when you play over clever games like this you end up as a joker.

Yes - before this KCR/Teddy - several bc leaders etc used to ask for seperate telangana(for completely different reasons) but nobody cared. Jaishankar was always for seperate tg - did anybody even bothered to listen them before TRS. Only when doras/teddies took interest did the TV studios start inviting them and a "movement" started. At some points it went out of their control too like dora breaking fast but forced to start again, and RS teddies unable to kill it after winning the election. But they and only they put life to this. Ultimately the queen sonia for her son rahul and rss which always wanted states to get smaller but no power to be transferred to them took the decisions.

are u from Tg or did u get info from TG friends or eenadu, abn media??

Ultimately nothing changed for the people , only some politicians lost .

Your point about smaller states strengthening central parties is true .  I find this whole idea about a strong central government repulsive too . I would prefer a federal structure on the lines of European union

Divide ayyi peekendhi endhi mari? so next yem chesthav ? A state borders are organized based on a principle. Worldwide it is usually language (for generally succesful states/nations). Once you organize on language and make an egalatarian constitution any disputes must be solved through negotiations/protests/fights etc. Anthe kaani you cant keep asking - "naakem vacchindhi" "naakem vacchindhi"- nuvvu try chesthe vasthayi kaani edho chillar criteria meedha borders arrange chesthe vasthaya ? Also you absolutely dont seem to have any thought for people - always 5-10% caste fellows bother you so much. All this seperate state drama is because there is a delhi which can give this seperate states. If there is no delhi then you have to make war to set up a seperate country. Do you really have guts or strong enough reasons for that ? are you willing to kill people in vjw to seperate from them? if yes you can ask. Not this political dramas of which caste will be cm.

are you from andhra that you are in andhrfreids forum? i actually grew in TG and my brothers as well. I studied out of state but they both studied in TG coleges. There was zero TG sentiment like 2006 or so then suddenly grew with all these eddies and doras (big landlords who never suffered anything due to AP or due to now TG) filling in TV stations shouting injustice. It is clearly manufactured.
