If you notice the HDI of india before 1991 and afterwards you will notice the tremendous progress we made in mean time .

What tremendous progress - its just IT (and some pharma which is minor)and nothing else in andhra. And IT is due to america-  America did the invention, invested offshoring, thanks to CBN we showed up at the right time anthe. Other than IT, America what is there in andhra? any manufacturing jobs? any new agri processing jobs? any banking headquarters or major financial work? whatever is there like hotes,real estate, bank loans etc is just riding on it and america immigrants money.

Actually india gets more money from the gulf than north america and Europe combined .

Andhra Pradesh has the least literacy in the country , comparable to failed states in sub Saharan Africa . What sort of tremendous progress will we achieve with that . The upper castes are in IT jobs , we need more skilled populace to amount to anything .

Yea fisheries/poultry also grew but they are still low paying hard jobs with high risk (especiallt fishery) - no one sees them as modern industry. Regarding other points you are basically saying the same thing i said - nothing improved. Malla yem capitalism in andhra or inida

Before 1991 , over the half the people used to live in thatched huts in AP .  Most people did not have even current connections , extremely high infant mortality rate , life expectancy increased from 58 to 70 now , many people did not even have cycles , if you wanted cement or steel you had to wait in a line at government office , telephone connection was only for 1% of population , you had to wait years to get a any vehicle delivered in government quota be it tractors , cars or bikes , etc

The only thing Andhra specifically lagged is literacy rate compared to india but that's a product of ignoring public schools to favour private ones

The standard of living of an average person drastically improved  , it's not even a question .

Idhi maree crazy arguements - are you saying nothing improved in communist kerala in last 30 years? if there is communism people will still live in huts? have you heard of countries called vietnam. cuba, china etc ? check how they did in last 30 years. You wont find a single slum there.

Even the Russians acknowledged communism is a failed ideology and changed themselves .

Do you know how much percentage communists get in Russia today ?
