It's BJP in Tirupati by-polls, Pawan succumbs

It is now official. Bharatiya Janata Party is going to contest the forthcoming by-elections to the Tirupati parliamentary seat, likely to be held in April.

And Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan, who had hitherto been giving an impression that his party would contest the by-polls, finally succumbed to the pressures from the BJP high command.

BJP in-charge of Andhra Pradesh V Muralidharan on Friday announced that the BJP candidate would contest the Tirupati by-polls with the support of Jana Sena.

“A decision to this effect was taken jointly by Pawan Kalyan and BJP state president Somu Veerraju,” he said, adding that the BJP will begin its victory march from Tirupati itself.

Earlier, Somu Veerraju, along with BJP co-incharge of Andhra Pradesh affairs Sunil Deodhar, had a meeting with Pawan Kalyan and his deputy Nadendla Manohar and discussed the Tirupati by-elections issue. 

The BJP leaders conveyed the intentions of the party national leadership to Jana Sena leaders and told them that there was no option for them but to support to the BJP candidate. It is not exactly known what promises the BJP leadership had given to Jana Sena chief.

Later, the state BJP said the candidate for the Tirupati by-polls would be decided by the party Central Election Committee and announced shortly.

Asalu what is he trying to achieve ?  maa kulapolu unna tirupathi ni kooda dharpanam chesadu pk . 

I don't understand what bjp is trying to pull here , Nellore lo unna rural constituencies lo asalu bjp cadre ledhu .

tirupathi ani Peru unna , it's mostly Nellore rural mp seat . Maybe they want to get name recognition in a temple town seat

My thinking is .... They are confident of something and that is the reason they might be pushing themselves into Tirupati.. or else they would have just asked Janasena and if lost they have a reason and push the loss to Janasena .. So i am expecting something is cooking behind the scenes..

This is not a seat ycp will lose by any means , so they are trying to place second. TDP strong kadhu kaani , bjp ki asalu villages lo cadre ledhu . 

Like there are no contacts for BJP at all , ycp tho emaina deal seat chesukunaro ento

Anatapur will be very tight or even go TDP way but remaining districts are self inflicted wounds by TDP . 

Telugu Desam leaders must stop  blaming "rayalaseema rowdies " for every single incident .   Ekkada chinna incident jarigina rayalaseema rowdies chesaru ani statements istharu . 

Those people have self respect too , why blame entire region for the alleged acts of few people .

BJP doesn't take short term decisions .. they definitely have a 10 yr plan like WB

Nah , main reason is YCP is not really caring for this election .

They did not even conduct a single campaign event until now , BJP and TDP conducted many meetings and road shows. 

Even for the candidate selection , if they went with durgaprsad's son , sympathy factor will also add a lot of votes but they chose some unknown  random guy with no money .
