Yentha thelivi unna (which is not true - kams actually had better morals and justice until 1980s when they fought for landless through communism even opposed caste system like mansab etc) if you want political power people will judge you how good is your heart is.  In this kams get very low marks now like baapans got some decades back. There are two simple ways they can restore credibility:

a) well publicized inter caste marriages of prominent political kams - especially in to bc/sc/st. There is strategy used by Ibn Saud to unite saudi tribes and especially royal family.

b) Conversion to christo or islam by some prominet kams. This strategy worked for teddies. That makes you appear broadminded and attracts others.
