Farming is not viable at all in india anymore  , some people might be romanticizing the idea but the reality is no farmer wants their kids to continue farming as they know the real pain , stagnation  and helplessness of farmers . 

Inthaka mundhu laga kadhu farming , daily kasukoni undali . Government schemes are only meant to help one acre farmers .

Most of the sucess stories you hear about IT to farmer transition is actually marketing sucess . They are leveraging technology to better market their produce  .
