For anyone who don't know about debt economics , the absolute debt size doesn't really matter if it's denominated in your currency and the interest rates are low enough . 

As long as you can meet the interest payments , debt can be managed . 

Japan is a prime example of this

Debt in national currency = good 

Debt in foreign currency like IMF loans = bad

Don't get too stressed about US debt , pretty low interest rates + dollar denominated 

US is perhaps the only country that can pay back all it's debt in a one day because they are the default currency of the world

Covid situation forced it , Trump was forced to run a 8 T deficit last year
