Intel is still behind in several benchmarks even with 12 th gen stuff . 

But the main problem now is availability

for the same 1000$ price you can get beautiful, ultra powered machines....

my windows lapotop is 2600$ extra durable, extra power, max compatable machines, 

128gb ram extendable, 4T ssd extendable with 12core processor ... it works seamlessly... mist importantly the laptop will listen to my instructions and install anything from the world....

intel i9 is superior than amd ryzen 7. but i9 laptop cost 1200 ryzen 7 costs 900. With same config, Mac costs 2000 min. So cost wise intel/amd is fine to play even hard games. i heard intel needs to release i12 for faster preformance. not sure why intel is not doing it.

there are so many variants in the same processor... how you have to choose based on your budget.....

amd are worst man in terms of performance.... I have seen the clear difference... 

sometimes I feel... amd was formed by intel to defeat himself....

no. complaint from people is that intel charging premium money for low performance chips. where as AMD is charging reasonable price for faster performance. on top of it, intel is behind in 7 nm or less chips. AMD is already way ahead in this .
