heridatory archakas is everywhere in AP&TG. But in tirumala they should be given more importance than any other. Why because lord Balaji appointed them as priests. Vadahalai people works as paricharaka & thengalai will be archakas. 
 

Why archakas should have retirement ? Bhagavath Ramanuja lived for more than 100 years. Did he take any retirement ? It’s a service not a job. Vallaki priesthood vocchedhi anuvamshikatha paina... malli retirement endhuku ? Tirumala veru ... once read “naaham karta hari karta” . Tirumala lo namam thaggisthe emayindhi? Swamy mahimalu ento apudu thelusthayi. 

I am also against to the mirasi system ... kani total ga theeseyalsina avasaram ledhu . In few temples they are not even given oil & ghee for deepalu. Priests eh petkuntaru... malli temples ki more than 100C revenue untadhi . Mirasi unte vallu kuda one of the trust board member ga untaru . Without their approval no one will able to take/pass the decisions. Ipudu avem levu kabatti evadiki nacchina decisions vadu theeskuntunnadu

ramanuja is rare person not sure if one can compare him to others

but my question is there anything wrong in appointing priest from the same family?

Traditions are not easily changed , especially when it relates to matter of faith.

Ayanatho compare cheyyadam kadhu ... before endowments department came into exist there’s no retirement . Ma thathayya chanipoyedhaka chesaru mari ... ee endowments vocchindhi maha ayithe 50 years back emo ... after independence. 
 

Aa 4 families nunche archakulni appoint cheskovali. Pradhana archaka post based on their experience eh istharu(na feeling). Tirumala lo last govt based on what icchindhi anedhi I don’t know. Ala ante dollar sheshadri garu paricharakudu. Ayana after retirement kuda pani chesthunnaru. They don’t really care about retirement.
