it seems they are not calculating the consequences if things go south .

i brought a condo like 7yrs back when i just got my h1b......i brought it for 110K with 5% down.......best decision ever 

this was my thought....even if i stayed there for 1yrs, my rent 1200*12 = 14,400 is saved........after that even if i sell the house for 95K(110K - 15k)....i am still in the money 

we made a calculated risk, we ended up living there for 4yrs and sold it for a profit of 20K 

 

this is my real story 

 

PS: Visa issues vasthea will sell and go.....or if i am really pissed of will file bankruptcy and leave.....i dont really lose anything

dont hold back things for immigration, dont go overboard either......make a calc risk

i have also seen uncles, waiting untill thier kids are 7th or 8th grade and buying 500-700K properties.....inko 3-4yrs lo kids will leave to college anyways.....why make this stupid move??
