I got addicted to carbonated water, want to buy a good soda maker.

Soda stream. But if you drink a lot it becomes pricey for canister refills. There are online alternatives for canisters. You can buy custom cylinder and get it refilled at sports stores. They are meant for paintball cylinders but sodamod makes them for sodastream.

SodaStream is really good if you buy a lot of carbonated water.  Paina vesina costco deal almost unbeatable with 2 canisters. You can invest in additional bottles if you drink a lot everyday

carbonated water is not good for your teeth and overall health...avoid it...

Too much anything is not good. Even fruits.

Carbonated water should affect teeth unless you add cola or other sweeteners.

why ?

According to available research, sparkling water is generally fine for your teeth—and here's why. In a study using teeth that were removed as a part of treatment and donated for research, researchers tested to see whether sparkling water would attack tooth enamel more aggressively than regular lab water. The result? The two forms of water were about the same in their effects on tooth enamel. This finding suggests that, even though sparkling water is slightly more acidic than ordinary water, it's all just water to your teeth.  - American Dental Association
