How to stay without desire?

Yesterday night, I was listening to Geeta. One stanza is

dhyāyato viṣhayān puṁsaḥ saṅgas teṣhūpajāyate
saṅgāt sañjāyate kāmaḥ kāmāt krodho ’bhijāyate

it means that if you have desire, it will turn into attachment. If you attain your desire, you will have greed. If you don't attain your desire, you will have anger, anger will cloud your judgement and make you lose your senses.

How to not have desire? I feel like it's very hard.

Why?

Greedy algorithms achieve optimization faster even if not the best. Useful for NP hard problems

Even anger isn't bad if you can put that fire to good use

Anger will cloud judgement and make you take irrational decisions that you wouldn't otherwise take.

that happens if you act hastily upon your anger.

Instead channelize it for different outcomes
