Yes .

I did take visa 4yrs back when I first went for stamping. I took for being safe side but Matamoras on arrival tesukovachu. 

 

Mexican Visa:

I had my previous US visa expired so took Mexican visit visa from consulate which was in my city.  I got visa in half day...1st had to submit docs in the morning and came back for interview in afternoon .. was issued visa and got it stamped for 10 years for 30$

 

Mexican Tourist Visa Requirements:

·         You do not need to make an appointment.

·         All the applications must be submitted in person.

·         Fill out Visa Application form. 

·         Apply at the Consular Section in person from 8:30 am to 11:30 am, Monday through Friday.

·         Valid passport and one photocopy of the pages containing personal information, the photograph of bearer and expiration date/extensions.

·         Valid US visa for multiple entries; at least with 6 months of validity at the time of your filing and one photocopy.

·         Valid I-94 and/or I-20 or J1 or I797A Form in original and one photocopy.

·         Letter of verification of employment or Financial records (the last 3 months of your bank statements, or pay stubs, or credit card statements and the actual credit card) with one photocopy.

·         One (1) front view passport size photos, no glasses.

·         Payment of Consular fee 36.00 dollars. (cash only).

·         Letter from employer with letterhead.

·         Copy of latest U.S. visa even if it is expired.

·         Copy of passport

 

I have my cousin living in Houston so i flew to Houston and drove to Brownsville, Texas. Rented enterprise car . 5.5 hrs drive. Parked car near border akkada masthu kanipistayi covered parking. Walked and crossed the bridge. Ernesto ane agent was waiting for me. He  picked me up and dropped me at hotel. I told him before hand no airbnb type accomodation can pay more also but a room exclusive for myself in a good hotel which has a restaurant too. Dropped at hotel. Next morning his niece picked me up and took me for ASC appointment  and after that she dropped me at hotel. Ate something at restaurant inside the hotel. They will take you to outside restaurants  but i just wanted to not take risk and mind the work i came for. 

Next day morning Ernesto picked me up and dropped me at Visa consulate. I was there 2 hrs before my appointment. They let me in almost an hour before. By the time i came out he was outside waiting for us ( It was before pandemic so he dropped 5 of us and picked 5 of us) . Dropped at hotel again.  3 PM ki passports istaru he told 1:30 ki be ready. Exactly we were in consulate at 3 PM. 3:30 PM kalla passports tesukunnam and he dropped us at border by 4:30 ish. I94 vachi bayatiki vache dappadiki 7 ayindi.  I went back to parking lot and drove back to my cousins place in houston. Next day evening back to home. Brownsville, TX has an airport chala chinnadi and tickets were 500$ . 7 pm taruvata flights levanukunta. Couple of guys missed their flight as they didnt anticipate 3 hrs wait time at border to get new i94. Plan accordingly.

Agent charged 220$ for everything . Picking from border - dropping at border including pickup/dropoffs to consulates and also hotel accommodation.

I have a booked appt but its late in the year. Inko date open ayite prepone chesukunta. Ayina ippadi nunchi em plan chesukuntam 2 days before telisina chalu ga? Just buying a ticket anthe.

Nope. You can go to canada.  Same classification of visa as before ki velllachu mexico ki.

Yeah . Facebook group undi follow that. Delhi lone takkuva cancel avutunnayi chennai lo left and right getting cancelled.  I have a feeling all US consulates will be closed again. May and June are peak in India antunnaru.

Yes according to agent i am working with. First hand pandemic lo stamping ki vellinavallu teledu naku in mexico.

PS: I booked the slot and waiting for dates to open for preponing.
