Friend question on working from India

Ilanti situation lo vaadi India router ni US VPN ki configure cheyocha so if the VPN tries to find where the network is connecting from, it will show a location in the US instead? Neneppudu cheyale but friend asking if this is possible let me know guys.

a router configured to use VPN at firmware level can do this, there are people doing this already

it requires specialized config on router, you need to create a VPN like network between US and India IP and use this login to corporate VPN, the VPN to VPN tunneling is what complexity is, i dont know how it can be done but know few people are doing this

there are multiple ways companies track your actual location (workarounds can be expensive)

you are right, sometimes just stating the reality and requesting can actually help, they may issue a laptop that will be trashed when he gets back, actually hard drive will be trashed, this is configured to use a Remote desktop connectivity to internet network, managers can help for few people who have to travel outside

companies use various tools to overcome these security challenges, its not worth the pain overriding their protocols
