Christianity as a state religion was started in the Roman Empire by Constantine the great. This is some 3 centuries after Jesus lived. 

So the bottom line is even if he's a Brown guy the people that elevated him to the god level are mostly all White people.

thella or nalla is all in the mind of perceiver, the moment we don't care about their whiteness nor have any confusion about ones own identity/cultural history/own self worth, the feeling itself gets diminished

living for too long under invaders/british, we though our culture is inferior, fact is we were culturally superior but weak by warfare, there might be a reason for this, how can a civilization that have Vedas written 7K yrs ago can be invaded by outsiders, may be we are going through a phase of self inflicted learning upon us
