Ms in civil engineering

Please suggest scope of opportunities after graduating in civil engineering in USA 

also suggest good universities

My cousin   did MS in civil in Stanford , he couldn't get a suitable job  in states , apparently you need lot of connections. 

He joined a company based out of Abu Dhabi , it's been almost ten years now . 

Don't expect to get a lot of offers immediately like IT sector

Yup he was a brilliant student , NIT Tiruchirapalli , MS in Stanford . 

Academic brilliance does not really translate to real world success . 

He did not find a "suitable job" , he could have gotten job but not something he was interested in .
