am really curios to see how power can be cheap in india in coming 100 years

Are you following solar tariffs ? Even AP is setting up 10000 MW at 2.43-2.49 rupees . Add a transmission + loss of 1 -1.5 rs on top .the average rate of procurement used to be almost 7.2 rs in 2018 , now it's around 6.13 rupees for 2019, 2020

The rates should be around the same for all states in coming years unless modi fucks up that sector too by banning solar imports .

Solar is the key to making lift irrigation sustainable , no one expected such drastic fall in solar tariffs

Jagananna ki unna burra kooda ledhey Meeku

Solar operates at day time , agriculture motor operates at day time . So perfect match .

Also Telangana / Andhra ki oka advantage undhi , hydro projects can act as storage of power

https://renewablewatch.in/2020/10/23/seven-pumped-hydro-storage-projects-to-be-developed-in-andhra-pradesh/#:~:text=Under the IREP%2C the company,in Srisailam (Kurnool district).

Baseload energy is a problem but that's a technical limitation . But agriculture , peak load usage ki solar is perfect for india.

Kaleswaram ki kooda emundhi day time lo pumping chestaru when there is cheap solar power

AP lo average rate of procurement actually went down by more than one rupee but the accumulated debts is too high and the consumer tariff is too low especially the for those that use less than 200 units .

Same situation all over india discoms ahve too much debt to give rate cuts
