all tech is inherently 'dangerous', because it has the potential to disturb the social order

neuralink in particular is just a marketing gimmick. Some of the  original founders have criticized Elon Musk for misleading info about what neuralink can do. The guy is a jackass with some adhd issues probably, who knows.

capitalism, in particular, cannot help us get there. although in fairness, I don't think anything else can.

cybernetics was popularized under communist russia, actually. but then controlling complex systems is no easy task.all isms are a failure in this.

now they are advertising..this tech for paralysis people...capitalism doesnt stop there...

using the heavily invested tech for charity or humaity...thats not the capitalism...ultimately it leads to some sort "thought policing" or "brain washing"...etc

i have zero opinion on musk...IMO...he is trying to potray himself as tony stark...

Elon Musk is a modern day conman. 

you are getting ahead of yourself by imagining about how the tech will be used, when the tech isn't even ready.

all tech have the potential to be used for control. If the govt can use this tech to police your thoughts, then private people can use it to counter the govt too. 

I dont know why you bring in capitalism. capitalism is sh1t. Its just a made up word for stuff that people do in the markets. as long as govts and nations and societies fall, capitalism won't have any power beyond the individual's ingenuity.

I think people use the tech for their own benefit.Its not the people that use it for their own benefit that bother me.

its the people that are fcuking dumb and attached to their govts, religion, caste, ethnicity and give up their sovereignty to another person to exploit. That's who I'm scared of.

first I have a very low opinion of people in society. I don't care if they die in large numbers or become sheeps.. because they are already that.

To be afraid that someone could control our thoughts by pulses to our brain, when they could do it simply by bombarding us with targeted ads is just ridiculous. 'capitalism' will also not choose the most expensive way to do something.
