how does it matter when people get symptoms?

according to data released by UP govt 18k tested, 106 positive. you can contest the number, sure.

but if the number is true, then I see no point in making a big deal about this. because the noise that you guys make is not gonna stop khumbh. It'll be used to stop Ramzan.

good luck with your strange secular fetish.

blanket statements that humans are suppressed all over the world is something that I see as speaking something but means nothing when the root cause is not addressed. You are entitled to your opinion.

All my posts are based on that root cause of the problem that I want to call out. I am stating this since you assumed that I post news from one source, or that I call a certain group as dresh drohis and so on. Stating the obvious is not bigotry like for example the Islamic persecution of Hindus and minority religions in Bangladesh nor it is being biased. Instead of addressing this problem in question, an ideological standpoint that no everyone has one or the problems so let’s just choose to ignore because things will become better by themselves is something that I don’t believe in. I can go on on why the holier than thou display is problematic and duplicity of it but I’ll leave it at that. Again, I don’t have to explain all this but stating anyway since you  thought I was stonewalling in an earlier conversation.

I stated my beliefs and you stated yours. I don't deny there is persecution and it needs to be talked about.

Making a big deal out of it when it suits our beliefs and opposing it with all possible means when it does not suit our beliefs is what i was calling out. Shanti ,Peace.

what do you mean, why? dude, I don't think you talk politics with people in your family, extended family etc.

talk. and find out why.

people are bombarded with propaganda day in and day out in India. Its the natural consequence of such propaganda.

people have lost the ability to think, empathize etc.

This I definitely agree

Its upto the journalists to prove that they are misleading or false. so far no one has contested the numbers.

All I was asking is to show where I exaggerated the said things and opposed by all means about the assumed narrative.

I merely questioned the intent behind posting the below in a thread that was a news related to persecution.

A journalist was buried alive for reporting sand smuggling of UP mla .

They could have easily stabbed or shot or ran him down but they chose that method because it sends a message  to the fraternity.

Seriously try making YouTube videos abusing yogi while residing inside UP

dude, this is not helpful at all.

I'm not supporting Yogi here. I'm merely stating the apolitical nature of the secularist position.

Hindutva people can easily guilt trip you to treat them as normal people, when they should be treated as hateful scum. They will then use this to justify their restrictions on muslims.

everytime secular people fall into this trap in India. because they are busy congratulating themselves for being impartial. when they are actually apolitical, which is extremely dangerous to the minority.

you have to throw your political weight behind the minority. That's the only way to ensure parity.

I wish people well for Khumbh. I'm only bothered about how Ramzan is gonna be treated. simple.

btw, I'm not accusing you of being secular. I think you are hindutva lite. may be more bent towards capitalism more than cultural political stuff.

why would they question??

why means? its their job to cross check the numbers.

come up with the breakdown of rt-pcr and antigen tests or whatever new tests sprung up, and explain to lay readers (like myself) how this number is misleading.

my simple question is..

1. when did khumbh start - forgive me, I was born Hindu, but don't really care for these stuff, so don't know

2. didn't the cases rise even befoe Khumbh? - not that terribly important, but still a useful question to consider

3. isn't there consensus that the virus doesn't spread in open spaces? - so may be khumbh may turn out to be relatively insignificant in terms of adding new cases.
