When first one happened there was no covid situation in india. All foreigners came to india with due protocol. I am not saying this. 3 high courts made same statements. They spent months in jail for no crime.

More than the Tablighis congregations, their misbehavior and their failure to cooperate with the then quarantine norms was the reason for the blame.

Tableeghis did nothing wrong. At best they are like those people who escaped from airport quarantine on reaching India.

the amount of hate mongering that was spread on muslims was mind boggling. couple muslims were killed too because of that unnecessary hype.

mirage should ideally be debating me, because I am the one that will say Tableeghis did nothing wrong. Instead he's debating a centrist who thinks both are equally to blame.

Plenty of Tableeghis came forward on their own to quarantine.. Yeddiyurappa even thanked them and said nobody should blame them. TN muslims also came forward..

Its up to the govts to create an environment where they can come forward and be confident that they would be treated right. Plenty of CMs went on with the 'super spreader' propaganda and some of them even arrested for simply complying with the law.

So these Tableeghis behaviour is no different than the behaviour of most normal people.
