I spent total 6000rs to travel from raipur to chennai at that time. mostly hitchhiking on milk trucks.

I walked from vizag to elamanchili, then from bhimadole to vijayawada.. nayudupeta to tamilnadu gate in gummidipoondi. I slept on busstops by the side, with movie posters for cover from mosquitos.

the guy who I was walking with was refused to be girven a seat on the truck, because the driver simply said 'ilanti vaadi tho nuvvu unnavante, nuvvu kooda ekkaku'. I offered to pay for him too. the driver got mad. and then later I had to suffer a Nellore asshole passenger praising Modi for this lockdown and about how he would give the driver 15krs right now to drop me in the middle of the road. lol. Its supposed to be a joke anta.

I could've actually called a cousin and stayed in govt guest house for the rest of the lockdown if I wanted to.

and even after 4days of walking and not bathing (finally took a bath at a vijayawada toll booth toilet, super clean), the drivers could still differentiate between me and a normal worker.
