Yes, whatever the US can do.. China can do too.. in some areas, even better than the US, inspite of much limited resources.

China is a leader in Infrastructure development , US can't build . Even a state like Texas they can't build highways around Austin due to red tape and structural inefficiencies

may be they waited for the right time

who knows

US is not as powerful as you think. Even with 10 times the military size of China. US cannot intimidate China.

that time has long gone.

Not just land , even some of the tourist infrastructure is just on a other level of US.

Look at the sheer amount of infra developed by Chinese around the world. To India needs to cooperate with Chinese and let them build the infrastructure

Lol, that is not the point here. It is how the US is running this campaign. All these days the same theory came from right wing sources, the administration changed and it is coming from left wing sources. China may be powerful on its own, but if the rest of the nations are convinced of their involvement, they can be isolated. You really can’t win battles alone no matter how powerful you are.

The problem is mostly land acquisition.

just looking at the sheer numbers of tunnelling projects around the world (including Europe) for subways is mind boggling. I think everyone is set on upgrading their infra.

chinese infra looks good because its new. but US/Europe infra has born the test of times.

another area Chinese are actually ahead of the US is, military AI it seems. I heard US is completely outmatched by China in internet espionage.

There wouldn't be a need to put that point here, if the US actually has a case, instead of rando bureaucrats and scientists spewing sh1t. for their 15secs of fame.l
