No other better option. Pappu or congress would have made it a mess during wave 1 itself. 

Modi is a good orator. He made people follow his words. India lo atleast kontha mandi ayna responsible ga unnaru ante adi apatlo lockdown and Modi's call for the nation valle.

cheppina ga.. people by default support those in power. very few people support/oppose the govt. most people just want the status quo to continue. 

Its true of this mass murderer Modi govt, and the UPA govt. may be you forgot how much little pushback UPA govt got at that time online.  even though there was a relatively popular anti corruption movement against it on the roads.

people are dumb. they are not waiting for anything. If people are informed and active, they would look at alternatives right in their states. and be open to forming a 3rd front at the union level.

but people are idiots. They don't understand that their CMs are being made just caretaker governors of their state, increasingly by the BJP led Modi. They effectively now have very little room ih policy space and exist only to carry out union govt plans in their state.

even Congress wouldn't be any better. Such a sick state of affairs and people don't even realise it.

People love India like idiots, and spit on their states and their people.

if one is charitable.. one can call them uninformed and naive about the failures of Modi govt, and how it has constrained capacities at the state level by choking their revenue sources.

But its also possible that these people like what Modi is doing. They want power to be centralized, and for their good luck by birth to continue. this sickness is pretty common among upper class in India. modi govt still hasn't fcuked them yet. Hope he does.
