Had to quit a job I joined on March 1st today.

No knowledge transfer, no mention of what expectations they had. Totally manual process where no one responds to your email even if you were to follow up with them multiple times, and no colleagues except the director who I report to. Even he gets frustrated if I ask him any questions for clarification, says I expect you to figure it out.

Ee opportunity kosam left other better chances, just because they offered me this job first.

Sometimes luck turns out that way, hope I will use this as lesson learned and move on.

Depressing reality but time to swallow the bitter pill

Did you get other job ba ?

Update on this issue:

HR reached out to me today after I sent her a lengthy email detailing everything that happened during my employment at the company. She accepted that the director was at fault here and that sometimes they aren't the best at conveying what they would need, said they are willing to take me back.

But nene alochistunnanu now it's kinda personal because the director probably never expected me to fight back and complain to the HR about my thoughts but since I have done that now, he's in the red and in the spotlight for the wrong reasons now. However, ippudu nenu tirigi vellina I feel he will try to target me more and point me in the negative whenever and wherever possible since it's a personal thing for him now onwards.

I am thinking I will ask the HR to put me in a different team with a different reporting structure if they have a role similar to this, if they don't and can't do that then see if they could pay me more severance. My future in this company is non existent anyway as 1) The director I reported to has been working here since 23 years and I am sure even the other team members are going to side with him over a newbie like me (2) Most of the other directors and such are also people that have been here for 15-20 years, mostly antha musali thellollu so they will support each other (3) the tech stack is outdated and it won't help my career, I have already started looking for other opportunities and got a few interviews setup already. Is it best to just move on? That's what I think I would like to do. Suggest what you feel.

Good that the HR responded in the right way..as we discussed your manager had taken in different way...

Now I suggest you to find a new job...rather sticking and taking to this different hierarchy...

Also if your fond of the company ..they may screw in some or the other way...

Fond em ledu bro end of the day it's a paycheck.

I just didn't want it to seem like I agreed with the decision and so conveyed what I felt, the HR told me it was fair on my part for having done so.

Vaalla tappu oppukunnaru so I feel somewhat happy about that. I want to close this chapter too and move on.
