hope they will roll back and make it free for all ages

I don't think they will.

All balisina pudingis in India want Govt to not give out vaccine for free for everyone. And these are the upper middle class psychos that run policy at the union level.

but its nice to know that you want the vaccine to be given for free for all. thanks. Hope your wish comes true.

lets assume if they publish the death count post vaccination

even if number is less .. media and social media will spread the news as if everyone who took vaccine is dying or hospitalized

that will demoralise people who want to take

first phase lo alane aindi .. and people hesitated even when covaxin was available

illeterate media outlets and politicians spread the news claiming its ineffective ani

its fine. I'm assuming this data is true and that deaths are very less.

I only want everyone to be vaccinated for free like it has been done so far.

120 million vaccinated one shot..  and 11 million two shots. I hope govt continues that.

only 50% of the stock. that's not enough for a mass vaccination drive.

states have to pay 400 to get more than what was allocated to them by the center.

if you have any formula on which doses are being allocated by the union govt, please let me know. I'm right now assuming that union govt favours those who are nice to it. Its a fair assumptions based on how mosha generally operate, like a goonda gang doling out favours than any professional executive officers.

i dont have those state wise distribution numbers...

but atleast from remdesivir and oxygen supply they ae allocating based on demand and how hard that state is hit...

else Maharashtra wouldnt have got that lion share of remdesivir...or oxygen supply all the way from Vizag.

(posted thread few min ago on those numbers).

FYI.. someone already put RTI on it...

44 Lakh vaccine doses were wasted because people didnt want to get vaccinated..based on those media/social media reports.

=====================================================================================

In the wake of many states facing COVID-19 vaccine shortage, an RTI (Right to Information) reply has uncovered a colossal waste of doses since India started its mass vaccination programme in January this year.

Tamil Nadu topped the list with the highest wastage at 12.10%, followed by Haryana (9.74%), Punjab (8.12%), Manipur (7.8%), and Telangana (7.55%). More than 44 lakh vaccine doses were squandered out of 10 crore doses used by states till April 11, as disclosed by an RTI reply, NDTV reported.

States like Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman and Diu, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Mizoram, and West Bengal wasted the least vaccine jabs.

There was "zero wastage" of COVID-19 vaccine doses, according to the RTI reply. Accusations of vaccine shortage have spawned a political slugfest between the Centre and states such as Delhi, Maharashtra, and Punjab, which claim that their vaccine allocation is less in proportion to the populace compared to, say, in Gujarat.

that one is a clusterfcuk, given poor medical facilities in most parts of the country.

India has done vaccination so far well.. don't you think its important to have a solid unbiased formula based vaccine distribution to states, as part of an overall mass vaccination drive?

At the current rate of vaccination, India can be vaccinated by the end of next year. its still fine as long as everybody is vaccinated.

with only 50% of the doses available for free, it will push back the drive by another two years, sure.

BJP sucks with public policy in General. I wish Jayalalitha, Karunanidhi were PM of India right now. we'll have less talk and more action. entire India can see the kind of leaders Dravidian movement (that everyone hates outside of TN) produced.
