I can dig up the stories if you want.. one from uber very popular (her husband is actually a silicon valley genius working on quantum computing and still she was harassed and thrown out of the company for complaining  about the work culture).

also examples from the opensource movements.

coder bros are a mixed bag. They are mostly progressive, but inside a startup they get lost in a swamp of their own making.. building products that they wanna use. Its like a frat club with rituals that don't include anyone other their own kind.

women have to learn to put up with that sh1t to even work there, even in non-coding jobs.
