Survival of fittest

This was before invention of cooking. 

Once there was a big disease spreading in animals.

Who ever ate any animal died. Somewhere someone did experiment a lot and invented cooking. Cooking killed the disease. People survived.

Not all were fit enough to make fire, understand cooking. Some were ignorant. Some were stubborn to learn new things. 

They all died. 

All that were left was those who survived and fit.

 

Covid seems something similar.

Nations/groups of people who invented vaccines, followed social distancing and compassionate are surviving. 

Nations/groups of people who are ignorant and stubborn are perishing. 

 

Is this a purge to clean all the unfit?

No. Cooking was not invented like that.

There were fires in forest due to thunderstorms and lightstrokes. because of that animals in that fire zone were semi burned. Some hungry folks ate it and liked the taste very much. This was the motivation to invent fire and cooking later stages.
