Italy bans arrivals from virus-hit India

“I have signed a new decree banning people from entering Italy who have been in India within the past 14 days,” Speranza wrote on Facebook.

“We can’t let our guard down” ahead of a limited reopening set to begin across Italy on Monday, he added.

“Residents of Italy can return but must take a (coronavirus) test before departure and on arrival and remain in quarantine” once on Italian soil, Speranza said.

Canada banned anukunta. But Edo loophole tho people still coming anta. 

Surprisingly US still not doing it. Hope they Will do it soon.

emo everything is half baked knowledge, as we do more research we get to know more about this, we are still not at the stage where we can say we know everything about this virus and/or all its variants. right now looks like in India there are atleast 3 variants, if flights/travellers from India to US are not banned, one way or the other one or more of those variants are going to make their way to the US, likely resulting in surge of cases, I just took those three states as an ex. due to vaccination and immunity the death toll might not be high, but if the variant is a superspreader, it will cause problems in the US too, like oxygen shortage/beds shortage etc.
