dude, India has native vaccine covaxin. allowing every manufacturer in India to make it for nominal profit is the easiest solution to this.

covishield I get it, since the deal was made even before covaxin was available and the commitments need to be kept. There's no need for manufacturing covishield further even.. just pour all govt effort into making covaxin on a large scale by several manufacturers. so simple.

instead states are made to purchase covaxin at 600/- a dose. sputnik will be more expensive than this.

union govt has allocated 35k crores for vaccination... but no one has an idea how they are gonna spend it.. and if they even will spend that money.

The only thing I want to say, Things are bad back home. Its beyond human control. 

Even in this situation, we are privilaged. 

Blame game will only increase your frustration but result in nothing. The govt has made mistake but at this point of time, to make things better we need the same govt to run all along. any change now will make things much worst.
