More than anything else, I would say that it is the initial resistance of the public in general to get vaccinated and that resulted in huge wastage. It is followed by the urgency to get it because of the rapid surge of numbers in a weeks time caused all the panic to rush to the vaccination centres that resulted in the shortage that we are seeing now. I am thinking in another week or 2 things will become more clearer.

Those number are quite common... there will be initial reluctance in everyone to get vaccinated.... It's not an issue to discuss or make nosie about it

India la appointment schedule ni honor chesetollu takuva vuntar...mostly urban cities la you can expect people to come on time and get vaccination but rural areas la evadu time maintain cheyadu..

Say if the hospital plans to administer 20 shots per hour per day and people book appointments, on the day of appointment average ga oka 5 people aina show up late, very late or don’t show up. Give or take, appointment ni honour cheyani vallu minimum 20-30% aina vuntaru..

Time waste aitadi...and especially when we are racing against time to speed end up vaccination, ie appintment system may not be viable.
