See center can only take a decision based on the data they receive. Kumbmela mundhe everything was open in India. Appudu cases peruguthunna everything was fine ani states ye cheppinaru. Ante alantappudu “center knows everything that is happening in the country” ki meaning enti? If someone has lied to me, I cannot be expected to know the truth. You are as good as your data.

In Telangana atleast everything was open and the public transportation was running in full capacity. I have seen news of mumbai trains as well running in full capacity. I don’t know why people are assuming that Kumbhamela was the one single event that contributed phenomenally to the spread

I was there in Hyderabad before Kumbhmela. Anni open unde. Ippudu KCR and KTR ki corona vachchindhi. Vallu thirigindhe election pani meedha. They did not go to kumbhmela. Vallu local crowds tho mingle ayyaru kabatte they got it. Inka antha kanna reason ledhu. Yes, crowd gathering is a culprit, but there were many such gatherings before kumbhmela.

My point is if trains and other public transportation and all places are open for public and like you can see millions on any given day are utilizing the facilities.. how can we say that kumbmela was one single event that contributed phenomenally to the spread. It could be anything. Why undue attention?

I appreciate Kerala for doing it this way. They have also not lied about their numbers. Other states have played the severity of the virus down and have blatantly lied about their numbers. Oxygen and medications can be allocated/stored depending on the demand projections at best. Now if a state has lied about its numbers, how can we know the true demand?

Earlier when covid tests were done each and every test result would go to the Center. Now Center is looking at states for the count.Center could have devised a mechanism to get an accurate numbers without having the need to depend on the states.

for example when I took my covid test, it was clearly mentioned in the test result that the result will be shared with the Center ICMR ani.but the test being rt-pcr and a costly one, not many are willing to take it.instead they are flocking at rapid tests.centers biggest failure is to track all such things even after experiencing the first wave

Genuine point but local trains are mostly for local commuters in Mumbai.they come back to thier homes at the end of the day

kumb ki vellinavallu akkade undaru ga. They have to come back to thier states ultimately  and in their en route they keep spreading.most of them unaccounted on where they go

Mostly locals but outsiders kuda thousands lo untaaru if not lakhs and millions. So we really can’t say that they didn’t travel outside of the state and if they contributed to the spread. Without knowing that it’s unfair to single out one event is my opinion.

Did not states also give permission to get the tests done at local private hospitals?

States also gave permission.but center did not come up with a mechanism to track the cases and they all went unaccounted andukey now it was at the mercy of states for reporting.
