Covaxin is inactivated virus and covishield is viral vector vaccine. Viral vector lo they only cloned the 1st variant spike protein. Now the double mutant virus has 2 types of spike protein and might not be able to fully neutralize the virus. Not sure why covaxin is fool proof.

I think their testing will start after the 5-11 age group is done. 2-5 next phase.. so most likely by next March-April.

Seen few NRI death cases in India in news. Not sure if they were vaccinated or not.
