Once the cases start to come down, things will get back to square -1 again.

We really need to push people to get vaccinated.

30% will be reached by Aug-Sept at this pace..

10% done. Accelerated vaccination drives for the rest 20% to bring it under control by June. There has to be a plan.

Awareness programs have to be initiated. If already existing, amplify it so that it reaches masses.

Its not awareness. Its the price. Union govt has left states to their own devices and asked them to vaccinate 18-45 on their own.

there's a lot going on here. by dividing one market (Indians that need to be vaccinated) into multiple markets, Modi has given the opportunity for the vaccine makers to play States, private hospitals, corporations against each other.

for eg.. May you have 10cr doses available. 5 goes straight to union govt. in the rest of 5, who decides how many doses would be sold at 300/- (for the states) and 600/- (for the rest).? Its the manufacturers. what do you think they will choose?

even states willing to pay 300/- won't get the vaccine until the corporates purchases go down. And even one state is pitted against the other after that.

if you think the price is gonna stay at 300/- or 600/- or whatever crap numbers they are advertising, you don't know how markets work.

Total vaccination: 15,49,89,635

Almost 12% of the population is vaccinated at least one shot. That’s not bad considering the lag we had when we started the vaccination drive. We could have done better though.

Doses not available is one issue and doses getting wasted is another issue. 1200 petti RT-PCR cheyinche vallaki 300 is not a big deal. Vaccination is only twice. We may have to test 50 times if we have to travel somewhere. Ration card color basis meeda state can categorize who is poor and provide it for free for them. 600 katti private hospitals konukkunte there is some faith that it will be utilized and not wasted. We have to vaccinate people by hook or by crook. I agree this is not a fair practice. This is to stop the mrityu taandav right now.

News channels are busy covering news around crematoriums and not paying attention to rural India. There are people are dying due to non availability of treatment.

nee laanti vaallu India lo unnaru kaabattey, Indian govt emi cheyyakunda tappinchukoni tiruguthondi.

private hospitals ki 600/- is the price of purchase of one dose. for the customer, it'll be close to 1000/- per dose. lite teesko.

Urban areas maatramey teeskunte, only 5% of Indians makes 50k/mo or more. I hope you have some empathy for those who cannot afford the vaccine.. which is about 70-80% of Indian population atleast. good luck.

For people who claim price of the vaccine is a hurdle, They really need to understand how it is implemented.

For people who can afford to pay, will get the vaccine.

For people who don’t want to pay, Will also get the vaccine.

For people who cannot pay, Will also get the vaccine.

State-Center or private, everyone will get vaccine. This vaccine policy is changing fast and being improved, price wise etc.

Na post full ga chaduvu. I mentioned based on ration card, they can provide vaccines for free for poor. Ippatiki evaru veskunta ante vaallaki veseytam better. COVID vaste hospital bill kante 1000rs is much better. Creating demand is the key right now. Vaccinating as fast as possible will bring down the curve.

India has the experience of running one of the largest and longest running vaccination programs. Vaccinating rural areas actually is easier comparatively.
