Yeah, this is not charity.. Govt should not give money to SII for muft.. this is business.. The largest client will set the rate at which the commodity will be bought. that's how business happens..

this poonawallla is given charity by the indian govt to the tune of 10s of thousand crores. and bharat biotech too.

@Iriswest with union govt as the largest buyer, it can set its own price. That's how successful businesses control their supply chains. Not by forking out the first price the manufacture quotes to them..

they understand the process.. make calculations of how much profit the manufacturer should be allowed to make so he won't run out of business and halt the supply, and then bargain for the price.

No company will allow their supplier to simply name random price and be glad to buy the good for it.

Modi is giving free money to  poonawalla.
