FB Post: Child Protection Case - Asking on behalf of a friend who needs desperate help!

Her husband was summoned by the police after the following incident.
Her husband took their daughters (4yrs& 3years) to a park in the evening, while returning to home he stopped over a grocery store to buy a few items. While he went inside the store, he kept the kids in the car thinking that the grocery store might be crowded and still there is a lurking fear of covid. However, someone complained about the situation and after some time police arrived and found the kids playing all by themselves inside the car. The kids were alone in the car for about 19 minutes. Shocked to see the kids without their parents, the officer reported the incident. Child protection was sent to their home later and they questioned everyone in the family, including the kids separately. Day before yesterday her husband was asked to visit the police station and explain the situation. He answered all the questions that the officers had, however, they were not satisfied, and a formal case has been registered. He is expected to appear before the judge in the month of June.
My friend lives in Chicago and is looking for a good lawyer to discuss about the case and proceed from there.
Please suggest if anyone have been through such a situation ever? Or heard of anything similar?
Please suggest a good lawyer to help her in this case.
