I think so bro...maa family or relatives lo I have seen women attend last rites but they don't perform as men do...recent ga 4 years ago maa grandmother chanipoinapudu maa family ladies andharu occharu but only men did performed the final rites...

Lot of hindus dont follow this. Actually this doesnt make sense to me.. daughters ki parents meedha prema undada?  Hinduism ilanti chetha thiseyyali.
