Veteran Singer G Anand Succumbed To Covid-19 By GREATANDHRA BUREAU On May 06 , 2021 | UPDATED 23:32 IST Veteran playback singer of 70s G Anand who was famous with his songs of those days passed away this evening. He was infected with Covid just a few days ago and his oxygen saturation levels came down to 55. Some biggies in the film industry managed to get a ventilator bed but within no time he breathed his last. The invisible fangs of Coronavirus is taking away the lives of many. Anand is known for his songs "Mallela Vela Allari vela" of Sobhan Babu, "Sneha bandhamu enta madhuramu" of Krishna and the ever green devotional song "Adigo Gowtami Idigo Bhadrari". He gave his voice to many heroes of Tollywood in 1970s after the demise of Ghantasala. He is famous in the NRI circles as he gave several shows abroad.
