Pellichooopulu, Arjun Reddy and A seperation lanti low budget movies.  Manchi script tho 2 crores budget petti 50 crores lepocchu manollu. Almost 25 times profit. With this OTT and everything. Theatre owners no longer has a strong hold anymore. These movies also go on to win awards and recognition.

In the case of  rotta commercial movies 60 crores budget petti loss risk ekkuva. Producers will lose everything if it doesnt fly. For suppose even if it becomes a block buster and makes 100 crores. The profit is not even 2X. Not worth it.

that industry is always there bruh, its co-existing.

You have movies that are made with 300 mil budget making 900 mil,

where as you also have movies that are made with 1 mil and make 70 mil.

Rate of return chala thakkuva for big movies. Even if it goes on to become a hit.

On the other hand, Look at Jathi rathanlu. Budget 3 crores and gross 48 cr anta.

Almost 16.5 times

yeah, Chitram was made in 42 lakhs. Returns aithe never published.

For example A Quite Place (Jim from "The Office" wrote and directed it) was made in 17 mil, but box office returns were around 345 Mil.

Yeah one of those 4 should be someone who is an aspiring director and who is familiar with film faternity. Only then he will invest his efforts heartfully. He doesnt even have to be a friend, I will rather have a stranger but whose livelihood is also at stake with this project.  Inka poyina kuda atleast we know we gave a best shot anukovali

success rates for small movies is much worse than for star based movies. I'm guessing 90% small movies won't even get released.

OTT is not going to change this.
