good movie....was waiting for 2nd part since 1yr...finally memorial day weekend ki theaters lo releasing anta kada....planning to watch it there since I'm fully vaccinated.

director teja already cheppadu in this interview .. if ppl gets used to watching movies in OTT .. big stars ki bokka ani .. which is very obvious .. becos vaallu chesey rotta movies ki .. vaallu theskune compensation ki assalu match avvadhu ..  dhani kanna.. manchi storyline tho thesi release authunna movies in OTT are gaining more popularity and much success

In the case of  rotta commercial movies 60 crores budget petti loss risk ekkuva. Producers will lose everything if it doesnt fly. For suppose even if it becomes a block buster and makes 100 crores. The profit is not even 2X. Not worth it. 

What you are missing is, for 60C budget movie :

1. You get 20 to 25C opening - by increased ticket prices, long weekend, extra shows , blanket theatre hoarding during festival time etc...

2. Satellite rights are sold for much higher amount regardless of outcome even before release.

3. Nepo media will declare it as above average if the movie is rotta and as block buster is it's average. Blanket social media campaigns etc ...90% people are brainwashed for last 20 years 

4. Out of 60C to 100C , budget 90% goes to hero + director. They make only one movie every 1 or 2 years ...so the nepo-slaves are ready to and recharged. Rinse and repeat..

Nope, OTT means it is a death knell for small budget movies in theatre... There won't be any pelli choopulu/AR/ PSV/ Broche/Jathi ratnalu... They will straight away go to OTT.

So called Big Budget movies ( just in paper ) will release in remaining theatres at highly inflated prices during festival times. They will continue to mint money
