dal123
Tammullu, I need sincere advice about my career. I am working as a full-time employee for the past 14 years. My company is a product based, so we have very small IT world. I developed excellent IT products (java, c++, SOA, Kafka, Cassandra) and sold to various customers by combining them with the main core product as enhanced features. My salary is OK (It's not bad.. it's not good …based on the internet search). I can't grow, but I can tell you I can survive in the same company for the next 5 years (not overconfidence, I have generated that much work). Every year they will give 3 to 5% hike and 10% bonus and no issues with the immigration support. I am expecting I-485 EAD soon and thinking of moving out from this cold place and trying to change the company. I have not prepared my resume for 14 years. My question to you is How long it will take to get a full-time job Do I need to write certificates like AWS? Is it going to add weight to the resume? Can You please suggest if there are any good certifications? I want to be in the technical area. What are the latest technologies in java (I am mainly SOA, Web Services, ESB, Kafka, Cassandra etc) What other things I have to consider for this big step Thanks in advance.
