Tech nunchi  Functional ga maara bhayya India ochina taruvatha.. Initial Hiring politics tho lower band lo hire chesukunnaru.. compared to my expectations.. two years two promotions with  close 30% hike each year.. next BA role ki same application position padithey kalla ku adhukuni teesukunnaru... so shifted to other side.. I know tech e2e and functional( 7-8 years ga chusthunna Data and learned talking to BA's then). Now two bands higher than Tech folks( my ex teammates) and Lead for India team on BA end. So aa patha politics avi ekkada reflect authaaya ani daily chuchu  ani aa team lo unna maa friend chepthuntadu..

in short, my work hours are hardly 4-5 hrs a day.. my salary is close to twice theirs.. and their work load doubled.

True ,..Inka India work env lo Tea time lo untadhi bhayya edupu.. I personally experienced both sides of the IT industry.

 

US lo nenu eppudu peer pressure chudale, work pressure chudale and I never ever thought of what other peers have on their plate..

Inka India na, I opted to move due to personal reasons.. I negotiated the position and everything while I was in India..after I came here, aa manager maripoyadani malli interview process.. I saw ego feed in that interview ..then they said only this band is open..it may be less in pay ani.. 

 

sarey ley inka options chusukundham prasthuthaniki join audham ani fix ayyi accept chesi other interviews teesukuntunaga.. I came to know through my colleague who has put down his papers about the conspiracy of my hiring.. it was about to impact someone who is current lead..so scrutiny daggira even though I did best, they said he is not fit for the role ani..

 

decided not to go personal , but professionally upgrade myself.. 9 months gaps lo 3 certifications chesi maa manager ni impress chesa.. he immediately recommended me for promotion.. so I came to the senior badge level..

next year focussed on process improvements, performance improvements and POC's...

again got good rating and role change.

 

so I got 60% + hike over two years.. and then lead. Also whole floor and other applications and downstreams ki nenu go to guy kinda maripoya.

konni kallu baaga geetayi ..gossips 

 

Luck favors Hardwork annattu... same time lo BA Lead position for our application opened and I jumped. BA bands and Tech Bands are different , so hike inko 30% to match the market. BA team controls the tech and till date it was only in US. Now they extended to India .. My knowledge to understand the business world was more than enough. Same time one of my other colleague I worked with , that lady came to India and I recommended her as my replacement. she got selected and lead.

True, I dont need to work , just need to guide Ba's and tech team.. and I review all the code and new Process designs(as it will help for my next certification),

 

My old manager( who is current tech Manager) trusts me and I loop him in all the recommendations I send to tech team.

 

So that the tech team dont sabotage my idea and present it as theirs to their manager for their promotions and Hikes

 

in simple, India work model lo politics ekkuva ,work ekkuva.. but for me, work is mere calls and some time review.. so Kid tho ample time dorukutundhi aadukovadaniki  and both ours work model is like that.. so family and couple time kooda ippudu chala kanipisthundhi

Captive unit lo chestunnava India lo? nice  , what do you mean by next BA role? PO or Sr Product Manager?

Yeah Captive unit ye, recently started. I am Product Manager when in comes to Offshore, but Sr Product manager is Onshore
