*PERM* question

If we file PERM as office based and now working remotely (H1 amendment completed) should we file perm again or since GC is future employment, should the applicant be in office for certain period after getting GC.

should the perm be refilled for change in position and responsibilities, for example from a senior programmer to senior manager?

Most of the companies will include change in position and responsibilities too  while filing perm... check with your Organization people how did they filed...

thanks. Checking with them, looks like they don’t have an accurate response.

Perm is based on your employer location for future employment. I don’t think you need to change anything for perm.

Ask your employer for ETA form 9089 (PERM Certification) and look in Section H. It tells the location where the job is. If it lists location as various, then you are good to go for any location. If it is just for a single location and you are not in that location, a new PERM may be needed.

i think when you file AOS , you need to work at the location where the PERM is filed. or else you need an amendment.

stay for 6 months there and then supplement j is needed.

GC is for future employment so ideally should not matter where you are as long as there is a job for you at the location where PERM is filed. consult attorneys
