kalaa_pipaasi
Senna is an F1 racer from Brazil who won the world championship in 1988,90 and 91, but met his death on the race track. Not to forget, he saved the life on another racer and he did this by stepping out of his car in the midst of the race and stopping the car engine of that racer so that it wont catch fire. Back then Senna used to be the respite for the people from their poverty. not only did they celebrate every time he won a race for his country, but also they wept so hard when he died racing. Given the style of documentary, i never expected the beginning to be so great. Starts with a tribute to him then followed by the sounds of car racing on empty tracks and empty stands and slow cut to his car crash. Though I could not understand what the editor/maker wants to convey here, the clever usage of images and the sounds made me cling to it. This was my starting point to watch a few other f1 racing films like Senna by Kapadia, Ford vs Ferrari and Rush. Yet to watch Grandprix.

Be_happy
Yes... Senna is 🐐. The impact that he had on following generations is enormous. It is a shame he is gone so soon.
