While I understand the need to project positive vibes about the team's chances - to pretend that we are a world beating side anywhere on the planet is a bit extraneous as we are yet to beat England in England (the last time we won a test series was way back in 2007 I think) and we are yet to beat South Africa in South Africa.

Please do not underestimate New Zealand - they already gave us a bloody nose in the World Cup semi-finals in 2019. They have the capability to repeat the dose if you are not careful.

All the best to India. If India wins the WTC Test title - we will become the first ever cricket team to possess all 4 major cricket titles -  the 50 over World Cup title, a T20 title, Champions Trophy title and this one.

I don't think so. When we played the Kiwis in 2020, it was in their backyard. That won't be the case in the WTC final since it's a neutral venue for both the teams. None of the teams will have a home advantage. We have our bases covered and if we play to our potential - then we have the ability to beat any side in the world.
