It's high time we need to think about having South India as separate country

Army jobs are not sacrifice and gaadidhi guddu. Most of them are upper caste from north india - majority form UP/bihar. Most of the time army job is just exercise plus free food and guarenteed pay and pension. Especially air force and navy. the only problems army faces is due to kashmir - there too so many para military groups.

If army is willing to recruit - so many youth from andhra and tamil nadu will happily join. Many drop out because of harrasment from northies and on basis of hindi.

people don't understand this. most think they are walking on landmines everyday, while fact is most of the soldiers don't even need to fire a bullet in their career in serious circumstances.

 

i spoke to a retired army man once, the only time he actively involved was in 1-2 kashmir incidents in his career. and adi kuda he was like, mem veltunte suddenga bullet sound vinpinchindi oka side nundi. mem immediate cover teeskoni aa sound ochina side konni rounds fire chesam.. vallu kuda fire chesaru. tarvata atu nundi em sound ralesu, mem kuda koddisepu wait chesi ma pani mem chuskunnam.

Thats another tragedy of being in india. Normally who doesnt want to be a soldier - especially an officer - the pay is really good, most of the time is flying super sophisticated airplanes (imported) or ships with no  war at all for almost 50 years now. Imagine an andhra/tg country where we have soldiers commanding in telugu with shiny guns/planes/tanks - we are missing all that swag. even if someone join the commands are all in hindi which is not the same thing.

south india will never work, it is a mini india with all of indian problems but somewhat reduced. Let every language have their own country like in europe or asia. TG/andhra can also be seperate countries if they like with visa free travel etc. they will merge anyway.

If TG  is out of india - it will really miss the coast. Also with both andhra and TG "manollu " castes getting oppurtunities to be ambassadors/UN representatives etc they may start getting on well with each other back at home.
