Iam to the family for the loss

1. 1 week ago this lady has posted a video saying her brother is on ventilator and no hospital or doctor is admitting him so she was requesting for help in that video.

2. Dr. Dilip gude is daring enough to accept such patient under his care in whom almost always the outcomes are unfavourable.

3. There are no definitive guidelines till date to treat covid disease, let me remind you WHO &ICMR are themselves changing treatment strategies day after day

4. Methyl prednisolone drug is a steroid which is given in patient to combat cytokine storm, there are multiple articles on its dosage. In acute conditions many a times we give 30mg/kg stat and then 5.4mg/kg as maintenance.

5. In this second wave we have seen many young patients come with ct severity score 10/25 and rapidly deteriorating within 3 or 4 days landing on ventilator with ct severity score 24 or 25.

6. Troponin which she was mentioning about will raise in all muscle disintegrating conditions, the patient is on ventilator, elevated renal parameters, no urine output that means patient is in septic shock , which itself can raise troponin levels. We didnot see any Covid patients with septic shock recover till date

7. Dr Dilip gude academic credentials are impressive and one cannot achieve it easily , iam sure he has put in all efforts in treating that patient.

8. If doctors such as Dilip gude face this iam sure many doctors too face this problem after accepting critical cases, if this continues iam afraid soon medical fraternity will take a backstep in accepting critical patients in fear of such illogical accusations.

Doctors such as Dilip gude are fighting hard during these covid times putting their own families at risk daily.

Let me remind you, it is not doctors who charge you money in corporate hospitals.

A Doctors intention will always be to help the patient, iam sure no doctor in this world will have intention to kill any patient.

We save many lives and also we cannot save many lives, doctors are human beings afterall.

The lady has made so many videos and posted in her channel mentioning doctors name and defaming him and later deleted all those videos after millions have watched it.

the crime of that doctor is accepting to treat her brother who is already on ventilator .

If she feels there is wrong treatment done, she should approach legally and have the doctor questioned on his treatment strategy but not defaming him for all the courage he took to admit such critical patient.

Iam for the loss of her brother and iam for the doctors humiliation.
