Most wealth management people are now fully corrupted...they sell you 

- term/full life insurances 

- sign up for annuities

- managed portfolios with high expense ratios/fees.

 

In each of them they get upfront commission ....all above are good investment vehicles but it has pyramid scheme now. 

Study yourself and allocate accordingly...

It's a long game ... not all succeed..

I tried but failed in stock market in last 10 years.   Bad timing/ indecisiveness etc...most made money in last 10 years...I barely got 2% returns. 

Missed real estate investment before 2017.. Now it's too late.

Started investing in land .... This is my last bet on retirement before 50. If not, go to low cost country and retire.
