I am female and first goal is losing 30 pounds

I am starting my weight loss journey this week and planning to lose 3pounds/week

i tried with 2pounds per week but not able to achieve 

things I am doing to achieve my goal 

intermittent fasting 

portion control 

daily 1 hour cardio 

please throw your inputs and please suggest if Fitbit is useful

good luck. Fitbit is not must IMO

eat veggies.. boil and sauté them without Oil. Add some chat masala and salt.

I personally I would not do fasting coz it will yield to more serious problems in the future like gastritis, heart burn issues, etc...

proper diet and work out on a regular basis with a goal set is the proper way of losing weight (this is just what I believe)..%$#$

Eat more protein, vegetables and go easy on carbs

Watch calorie intake

and be consistent.

You can indulge in comfort eating once in a while but make sure to burn those calories

Hit gym (treadmill) burn 500 cals in the morning before work

500 cals in the eveng after work. 
 

30 mins yoga (mainly surya namaskar) + 15 mins meditation

this is working for me; if you tell me i am busy cannot put in time to do this workout, your health your priority. No person or magic is going to help you. 🙂

Food:

morning: nuts(almonds, cashews, peanuts, pecans, walnuts, pistachio) - eat a mix but in small quantity + 1 date + boiled eggs whites with some ghee or butter

I skip lunch

dinner: veggies and 1 cup brown rice. 

3.5L water

weekends: meats and some biryani lol

I am happy so far.. losing slow but there is progress.

get a good nutritionist from india and follow that diet, as simple as that . do this with 30-40 mins walk everyday you will reach your goal weight.

 

 

the real problem with Intermittent fasting is long term cheyalev once you go back to normal you will gain weight . nutritionist will teach you how to make healthy recipes and portion control. this is very important.

Wow... if you can survive with that less food no wonder you will lose weight
