Always remember, weight loss should happen organically , not by starving or not by cutting down carbs completely.

Diet and exercise that’s the key .

Its a big theory, it depends on how you want to reduce weight,

there is not enough information on how to achieve weight loss,

I am female and first goal is losing 30 pounds

I am starting my weight loss journey this week and planning to lose 3pounds/week

i tried with 2pounds per week but not able to achieve

things I am doing to achieve my goal

intermittent fasting

portion control

daily 1 hour cardio

please throw your inputs and please suggest if Fitbit is useful

You go girl. All the best.

Fitbit versa or blaze really useful.

Try Apple cider vinegar with empty stomach in the morning. Green tea, lemon and honey once it twice during the day.

3 pounds per week is not good. You should take it slow and try 1.5 pounds per week. Remember that losing weight too fast will impact your health, immunity and skin.

Totally agree. I myself lost 35 pounds in a span of 3 months. But after effects were terrible. Through the whole process, i understood one thing. Don't shock your body by abruptly changing the diet plan and intense workouts. Let it get used to the routine over time. Go with your regular diet in limited portions, simple workouts and slowly tune your body to the changes. And more importantly, listen what ur body is trying to tell you.

After 3 months of my intense diet & workouts (mostly threadmill), my body turned so weak, i wasn't able to bend and even touch my knees. Earlier, even though I was at 185 pounds, I was able to touch my feet. I'd strongly advise anyone not  to go through that. Take it slow, listen what ur body is telling you and don't get into ridiculous deadlines of 1 month, 3 months etc etc. Every body is unique to itself and let it communicate what it needs.
