Puppy training for obedience

I got some questions about training. 

Our pup is 15 weeks old, I am trying to train him for obedience however this is my first time having a pet so I am new to it myself. 

Some have suggested using a vibrate(not shock) collar for obedience training, but opinions aren't unanimous on this. 

Meeku telisina books, videos, or websites unte cheppandi apart from whether you have used vibrate collars etc.
