24 hours agricultural current is bad in the long run .  If rains fail one or two years the situation will be really bad because Telangana cannot replenish ground water as easily. 

Also kaleswaram  last 3-4 stage lifts antha waste , acre ki 20-30 k avuthundhi anta current bill . Antha petti lift irrigation kanna KCR should have invested in creating technical universities  like IIT .

Hopefully KTR cm ayi corrections chesthey manchidhi

Same with cheneta workers in areas like siricilla eveyday there was a news about someone died because of no work.

Its really YSR who made these govt freebies popular. Before that was NTR with 2 rupees rice. Both AP state and TS state give a lot of social welfare. But as long as part of india their core wealth goes away from them.

Most t sepratists were like increase govt money by splitting state not spend it.

There are using a 2 pronged strategy  for replenishing the ground water first was filling the village tanks linking to the new projects like kaleshwaram and second one is through  building 100s of check dams along the water streams(vagulu), Telangana la prati ooru ki edo okka vagu untadi because of its geographical reasons as water run down along these streams and merge into either godavari or Krishna, down stream poye water ni 6-8 feet check dam tho 3-5 kilometers water undi poyela check dams kadutunnaru, vagulu are mostly the filter bed which replenishes the ground water.

Something like this and you will 100s of them coming up and in most places they are on the verge of completion or already completed.

The right word is farm ponds , check dam means something bigger and generally needs a solid retaining wall like shown in above picture . 

The only check dams I know that was built in Nellore in last seven years are three fiber check dams which started leaking water one year after construction .
